This week’s TWD recipe was chosen by Susan of She’s Becoming Doughmesstic. The recipe was chocolate souffle. I think souffles sound fancy, elegant and intimidating all at the same time. Who would guess that they only have about 5 ingredients, and most of them a home cook normally has on hand. This dessert actually came together wonderfully. It was super easy and it looked magnificent coming out of the oven. The souffles were light and fluffy with a nice chocolate flavor that was not too over-powering. I love how they puff up and have that nice papery-thin crust on top. I personally would not change anything about this recipe. The only thing I did was I halved the recipe and baked it for about half the time in small, individual serving sized ramekins. It was just perfect as it was, it really did not need anything more. I hope you also get to enjoy it! Have fun!
